WHERE IN BLAZES ARE MY CATS?

I got to my aunt's house, very eager to see my kitties. As I went to the backyard, imagine my surprise when i saw that they were gone. I started crying, and questioning where were my cats. My aunt peeked from my bedroom's window and just said "Willie came in last week and took them... He said it was just too much work for me... I don't know why".

So I went to my car, driving like a speed-demon, and reached my uncle's home. Now, instead of Sultanita it was in the Altura (at least that's what the view told me... with high trees and even strawberries). I reached a house that was perched at the edge of a big chasm... The house looked deserted, everything inside was in ruins. I got a glimpse of a black shadow running upstairs, and so I followed.

A big room, with an open window that reached the edge of the chasm... I could not see the ending of the pit. And on the edge, I saw three of my kitties taking a nap. Isis rushed to greet me, and Kali kept going back and forward... The chasm looked eerie, and a slight tremor turned into a big shake. All kitties were flying around, and the house began to crumble down on top of us all.

Don't you just love those thrilling endings?

ODD OUTING

Of all weird things, I was driving a car with an old friend at my side. We debated where to go eat, and ended up in a Taco maker in the middle of nowhere in Arkansas (???). As we went into the fast-food place, I took Miss Deedee with her wheelchair and primary equipment to the bathroom as she needed to be changed... When we got there, the bathroom was "dorm style", and then three old aquaintances appeared, joking around. I was becoming quite anoyed with the disturbance, as Deedee had started desating and I needed help (and was not getting it).

They started messing with the respiratory equipment, things flew around and went to the floor... all was a big mess. I was angry and started yelling at everyone "Dont you understand? These things MUST be sterile! There are too many germs here! Don't you get it? She cannot use that now! I need an ambu! I need the machine! Come on!" As I yelled I was trying to handle Deedee who was reaching below the 50s and was turning palish blue. All the while, everyone else laughing...

Needless to say, I woke up panicked.

SUNSHINE

I dreamed of a nice house, modest but centered around a nice big spacious bathroom with a jacuzzi, where Deedee can do her exercises in warm water, and where we can all relax and have fun. We were in a place filled with palms, and we could hear the seashore roaring and the salty wind filling our lungs with memories of home. And I saw myself smiling.

Talking about Weird...

I walked towards a table within a library, and it was quite crowded. Everyone had tons of open books, most of them openned within pages about Earth evolution, archeology and paleontology... Then I see this lady comes to the opposite side of the table, sits down, and studies some. It called my attention that she was dressed in exploring gear (reminding me of Indiana Jones). After a while she suddenly gets up and looks around... And it is then that I realized that it was Sigourney Weaver! One of the girls in the table Send a loud Shhhhh to her, then mumbled so I could her her "Who do she thinks she is?". I replied in a low tone "Ermm... You dont know her? Helloooo! Aliens trilogy... Galaxy Quest... Avatar". Nothing, blank... I was quite aggravated, being surrounded by younglings that knew nothing of nothing unless they shimmered in daylight... Then the scary lady passed by behind me, apparently she seemed to be heading out. I halted her, asking for her autograph. She hesitated, rolling her eyes, but after thinking about it briefly she smiled and said "Paper and pen?" I took my notebook, and instead of looking for a blank page I gave her a page that had many numbers. (WTF) She started writing, then thinking and then writing more. She gave me back the notebook, smiled, and went away. As I checked the notebook I saw that she wrote a passage of a book, and that title and special words were all written with special characters. The letters were shaped perfectly, and it looked as if it was a page ripped off a novel. There seemed to be a "swampish" image behind the dedication... My eyes went up to the initial words, were you could identify her signature "Sigourney Weaver".

And then I woke up... wondering why in blazes would I have a dream like that (I am a fan of Aliens not Sigourney)... You know, scary stuff...

Short and unsettling

Seems that exhaustion can win over some times, so dreaming may actually be felt. A day ago, in that estate of unconciousness, I had this dream. They say that if you say a dream, it wont come true. That is exactly the purpose, as it scared me a lot.

Location is blurry, but I had taken Deeva on my arms, and there was a long, long staircase. I was running from something, but couldnt say what, all around was shadowy. As expected, I missed a step and fall. Deeva fell off my arms, and all I could hear was her crying. As I picked her up her eyes had sunken to the center, and her mouth looked distorted. The jaw fell to the floor, as if something ripped it away. Last image I could see was blood, blood flowing as the jaw and lower teeth rolled downd the stairs until darkness took all light.

And so I woke up. I was not in the hospital at the time, but alone at home, trying to rest... That kinda didnt help the cause, as I could sleep no more.

Wooden Juju Doll, or something?

I was in the mall... strange cart of iron, mainly flat. A wooden doll that looked as a baby treant was crying but couldn't be heard. People were pushing/pulling... just as when there is too much people in a small space. The little treant almost went over the cart to the floor. I stopped and went in front of it, concerned that something had happenned to it. As I aproached it was facing down but I heard it saying "mama". i was stunned. Suddenly I realized that the little treant somehow was my little witch, as I was overwhelmed with joy when I heard her words... apparently her "first words". As i went to hold her, she turned to me, now the wood had her eyes, and she spoke a small phrase "Beware! They'll beat you!". As I looked around puzzled I saw a mob was forming around us... Suddenly jumping on us.
I woke up, startled.

Nerw Orleans wishing

I don't recall most dreams, and it's been long ever since I had my last one. Nevertheless, I woke up this morning thanks to the excitement that I felt within this dream... And oddly enough I remembered it all... So here goes...

"I was in a tour, it seemed. Cramped small car, perhaps a Matrix. Anyway… There was this mansion… old, creaky, museum-like. We were asked to leave the shoes in a corner and go into a ride that showed off the place (a la Haunted House mode). Lovely building, very plantation-like… I knew we were in Louisiana, in a mansion within the area of New Orleans.

Anyway… Plenty of spinning, artwork, even hints of ghosts… End of tour. I was complaining about the shoes… where were they? And I saw this black thin guy that was seating in the floor drawing something. I recognized him instantly as one famous comic book drawing artist, and went to cheerfully ask for his autograph. At first he looked bothered, but upon my insistence and my mentioning all his work which I collected he smirked and took the paper I offered him. Oddly enough, he draw something and signed the back of a big envelope that was oddly decorated with splashing bits of colors and glimmer. He gave that to me, and I was thanking him when I turned the envelope around and could not get out of my astonishment. I exclaimed jumping of joy: “ÖMG! OMG!”

The guy looked at me weird. ‘What?” I exclaimed: “Karah! This was a letter from Karah! You know Karah! It says DKRimmer! You know Karah!”He was puzzled and very surprised. “Damn, you know Karah? She’s arriving anytime soon, she’s to pick me up… She’s an old friend”. “Anytime soon! Damn! My tour is going! My tour is… almost gone!” The group that I was in was already inside their cars, the girls that were with me were in the Matrix and were about to close the door. I ran inside the car, being completely exasperated… I just yelled at the guy “Tell her I was here! Tell her I’ll meet her soon!” Then I turned to the cramped girl at my side “Where are the fricking shoes?”

I woke up… Late for work… Again… Sheesh! But I felt oddly happy and cheery. Don't know why I dreamt of Karah, but hey... Maybe being with that famous artist means she will be hitting jackpot soon, becoming one of the rich and famous? Could it be she should move to New Orleans to actually find/achieve all she's looking for? LOL Who knows... Good karma sent her way, always.

La vida es sueño (excerpt)

by Pedro Calderón de la Barca

Sueña el rey que es rey, y vive
con este engaño mandando,
disponiendo y gobernando;
y este aplauso, que recibe
prestado, en el viento escribe,
y en cenizas le convierte
la muerte, ¡desdicha fuerte!

¿Que hay quien intente reinar,
viendo que ha de despertar
en el sueño de la muerte?

Sueña el rico en su riqueza,
que más cuidados le ofrece;
sueña el pobre que padece
su miseria y su pobreza;
sueña el que a medrar empieza,
sueña el que afana y pretende,
sueña el que agravia y ofende,
y en el mundo, en conclusión,
todos sueñan lo que son,
aunque ninguno lo entiende.

Yo sueño que estoy aquí
destas prisiones cargado,
y soñé que en otro estado
más lisonjero me vi.

¿Qué es la vida? Un frenesí.
¿Qué es la vida? Una ilusión,
una sombra, una ficción,
y el mayor bien es pequeño:
que toda la vida es sueño,
y los sueños, sueños son.

This is an excerpt from one of my favorite literary classics works, La Vida es Sueño. Seemed appropriate... I know I have dreamt, we all do every night. I just have been in a void of memoirs... No remembrance of what has gone through my psyche... Perhaps dreaming is milder and peaceful now... Perhaps life is a dream after all, a long dream that is deep and never ends... Perhaps all shades of love have changed the grimmest sides...

Executioner's Blade

A frenzy filling my senses, as an alarm sets off in the darkness. Raindrops fall making the ground unstable and shaky. Still, desperation moves mountains, and the dread goes on...

Blurred vision. An insane run seems to be taking place... Nowhere to hide... A shade follows close, sometimes letting itself be lost in the shadows of the forest.

Beyond midnight, and the sky has no stars to light the way, neither it has a moon to lit the journey. Complete darkness, the thump of a heart's beat becomes present, as it goes on in a higher pitch by the second...

The sound of a razor sharp blade echoes, as the blade bites the wood of trees and the branches that comes to meet it. It is out for blood... It is out to have fun. It woun't stop until its dark desire comes true...

I run. I see the blurred vision, and female eyes with tears made up of blood. Rain blurs all images, all shadows, all shapes...

A glimmer halts me on my tracks, a glimmer coming too fast to try slitting my throat... Only a glimpse at the velvet glove of the entity that shall be known as my executioner...

And a beeping sound wakes me up.

Broken tooth

A blur of a memory, but it is as it is...

Running until I found someone among a crowd, then it all vanished... This blurred entity asked what I needed, and I stretched my hands to it, showing a tooth. He went like Ah! and tried taking it, but I closed my hand and concealed the tooth.

But you want it back in its right place, not? He said, in a husky dreamy shady voice... I just tilted my head, thinking. Openned my hand to take a look at the tooth, and found it bleeding.

Woke up.

The whore and the bloody hand

The vision is very, very blurred. A man walking with an arm raised before him... Blurred images in darkyones of yellow. Very murky setting, streets filled with crowds, then he turns and its all empty but murky...

Intermission

A corroded door. I opened it, and the interior of a messy house is revealed. The colors everywhere look as if faded, darks and yellowish hues are the only colors picked by my eyes. In the room there seems to be a couple: a blonde gal around her fourties and a guy that felt familiar. She had the look of a bar girl of the 20's, complete with boa and feathers. They seemed to be cuddling, as soon as the guy realized I was in the room he went to say hello to me as if nothing where happenning. Oh, yes, the guy was familiar indeed, although he looked different... I was upset, ranting about how dare him bring to our home that blonde trash. She jumps in to the argument telling him that how could he deceive her, that it was not his home only.

Intermission

The guy, dressed in rags, walking around pushing himself to go on. His voice an eternal whine of pain. His right arm extended, his hand kept within a box covered all by blood and dirt. The box had holes, from which you could peak into the bloody hand. I heard a voice over, as if getting inside the guy's head "They laugh, they mock me... they know nothing of my pain... I rot, cancer eats my hand, makes its flesh fall little by little, piece by piece... I rot... eaten alive... the pain". Then it hits me, although the vision is blurred, the voice and tone are the same as Luis Felipe, my half-brother from Texas. The blurred shape has hints of his face and bodytype. He goes on whining and keeping his extended bloody arm...

Intermission

Blonde hacking up at my familiar guy with a purse, while I was hacking him up with bare hands. She stops as she gets thrown in the floor. He pushes me towards him and starts kissing me deadly, pushing a door and pushing me through it into the darkness.

Intermission

Whining bloody hand guy keeps walking, and I see his box-covered hand from many angles. Final shot, a close-up to one of the bloody holes when the image within shifts to a bloody eye...

And I woke up, startled.
